Overview
Conrad Heron was permanent secretary at the Department of Employment in 1973–1976, a member of the Official Committee on Subversion at Home and of the Dean Committee and headed the Heron Sub-Group on Industry.
Heron is mentioned in connection with both committees in Inquiry disclosure. He supplied information for the Reds Under The Bed investigation by the Granada TV current-affairs show World in Action and has been linked to the Shrewsbury Two miscarriage of justice.
