Overview

Leslie Glass (1911-1988) was a senior diplomat in Britain’s colonies before, during and after the second world war. 

Glass was joint secretary of the Counter Subversion Committee and a member of the Information Research Department (IRD), a secret body the Foreign Office created to generate Cold War propaganda. Glass’ name briefly appears in Inquiry disclosure regarding the IRD and other matters that relate to subversion.
