Tranche 5 of the Undercover Policing Inquiry looks at issues around undercover policing units other than the Special Demonstration Squad or the National Public Order Intelligence Unit.

The non-state core participants related to this tranche are the former MP Dave Nellist and previously Azhar Khan. Mr Khan was a London-based solicitor whose firm was targeted by an extensive undercover operation that saw the police send in undercovers as clients.
