Overview
A transcript is a typed record of a hearing. Each public hearing in the Undercover Policing Inquiry has an associated transcript. These are usually published within a day or so after the hearing in draft form.
Some will have breaks where the Inquiry paused proceeding because restricted information has been inadvertently mentioned.
For evidential hearings, the Inquiry has also provided a video rolling transcript of what was being said (live, though with a ten minute delay) on YouTube. This was to protect the anonymity of the individuals (usually police officers) giving evidence.
