The College of Policing (CoP) is a nationwide policing body with operational powers.

It was set up to provide best practice on various aspects of policing. This includes producing and maintaining the Authorised Professional Practice on Undercover Policing.

Though a core participant in the Undercover Policing Inquiry, its activity to date (spring 2024) has been minimal, albeit it did provide the witness statement of Louise Meade re the impact of the UCPI on undercover policing.
