Overview
Documents released by the Undercover Policing Inquiry often have redactions made on privacy and security grounds.
To assist its work, it creates a tabulated list of reasons why a redaction is made which are set out in the Open Generic Grounds for Restriction document, though not all reasons have been made public.
A redaction table sets out which reasons have been applied for the individual redactions for a given document.
