Overview

TN0038 was a Special Branch officer between 1968 and 1978. In 1968, TN0038 was involved in prosecuting Tony Soares, who later founded the Black Liberation Front. 

In 1970, TN0038 attended court for the first known prosecution of an SDS undercover officer, HN68 ‘Sean Lynch’. TN0038 was an acting detective chief inspector in 1968, but by 1978 had reached the rank of detective superintendent.
