Distinct from the current Palestine Solidarity Campaign (UK), which was founded in 1982, this early iteration was only active between 1969 and 1973.

It was formed in November 1969. Sorcha Thomson, Solidarity and the Summer Camp, History Workshop, 'At the founding conference of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) in November 1969, to turn the existing small coordinating team into a national membership organisation... Several camp participants continued their involvement in the PSC, until it collapsed a few years later...', 24 Aug 2023.
It aimed to highlight and protest the injustice done to Palestinians during and after the founding of Israel. The group was unsuccessfully infiltrated by HN301 'Bob Stubbs'HN301 'Bob Stubbs'HN301 ‘Bob Stubbs’ joined the SDS in 1971, and left in April 1976. He infiltrated the Hammersmith and Fulham and Central London branches of the Anti-Internment League and the Wandsworth and Battersea and Paddington branches of the International Socialists. Many of his reports were not available to the Inquiry and his real name has been restricted.
